It's Monday! What Are Reading?

What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.  Click on the picture to be taken to Sheila at One Person's Journey Through A World of Books!

I don't feel like I got much reading done this past week.  It's been so crazy with 4th of July celebrations!  I started off the week finishing Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin.  It was another book that was good but not amazing.  The ending was interesting though.
I read The Seven Rays by Jessican Bendinger next.  I'm sorry to say that I was not impressed.  One of the few books that I considered not finishing.

I decided to read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer next.  I'm really glad I did before I went and saw Eclipse in the theater.  I didn't think it was fantastic, but it shed some light on things that I hadn't thought of before.

I finished Love Bites by Ellen Schreiber next.  I liked this book but it's not my favorite in the series.  As with the House of Night Series, I'm beginning to want to see some closure.

I'm currently  reading Summer In Paris by Michelle Ashman Bell.  It's a cute book set in small town Idaho.

I'm not actually sure what I'm going to read this week.  I know I have a tour book coming in.  So, I will read Cate of the Lost Colony by Lisa Klein.  I might start The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon.  Beyond that, I really don't know!

  1. Did you go see Eclipse yet? I really liked the movie and will probably go again. I think this was the best yet.

Have a super week of great reads :)

  2. For feeling like you didn't read much, you sure did finish a lot of books. Bummer about some of them not being great--I hate it when that happens!

  3. Eclipse was my favorite book of the series; and my daughters LOVED the movie! I'm reading the Short Second Life .. actually started it online and my daughter brought over a hardcover copy, so I'll be switching to that ... I love Gabaldon - you'll love the book!
