About Me and Review Policy

I'm a stay at home mom to 2 wonderful little girls ages 5 and 3.  Amazingly, I still find time to open a book!   I've enjoyed my past 2  years in the book blogging community.  I've made new friends and my life has been opened up to a whole new world of books that I don't think I would have ever realized existed.  I'm sure I would have been just as content reading the same books I've always read, but I've sure enjoyed what I've discovered so far.  I can't wait to see what the future has in store!

My Review Policy

I would be happy to hear from authors, publishers, publicists, etc about possibly reviewing a book or participating in book tours.  I cannot guarantee that I will accept every book offered to me.  If I feel the book might not be my style, or I can not fit the book into my schedule in a proper amount of time, I feel it is necessary to decline.  But, I do appreciate every offer that comes my way! I can not guarantee that I will like a book no matter how much I want to.  If I feel a book will receive a negative review, I will contact you first.

I typically read any type of Young Adult or Middle School fiction.  I also enjoy adult fantasy, historical fiction, mysteries, thrillers, and just about any kind of psychological book.  I can not say that there is any type of book I tend to stay away from except possibly non-fiction.  But, I've been known to read those too!  If you take a look through my reviews, you can see I really do read a wide range of books.  I would be willing to accept e-books as long as I can read them on a kindle. 

I also accept children's books.  My girls are 4 and 6 and love to read.  I have a children's feature that will highlight these types of books.  Please contact me if you think you might have something they would like.

I tend to read a review copy within one month of receiving them, and the review will post within 2 weeks after that.  I try not to accept to many because I like this time frame!  I also post my reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble.  If there is any other place you might like a review posted, please feel free to ask.

I would also be willing to have author guest posts, host giveaways, or just about anything else you might think of.  Please feel free to contact me with any ideas you might have.
