Book Blogger Hop and Follow My Blog

Book Blogger Hop
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word!  This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!  It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!  So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING!

"What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?"

An entire room full of books and beautiful shelves to contain them all.  I'm talking about the rooms you read about in nobility or royalty's homes (ok maybe not royalty).  That part of Beauty and the Beast were Belle walks into the library is one of my fantasies.  I really don't need something that elaborate, but it's a book lovers dream!

If you have, or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?

There are many books I want my daughter's to read.  But, I really hope they enjoy The Babysitter's Club and Sweet Valley High as much as I did.  I have both of the collections I cherished as a girl, hoping one day to be able to pass it along to them.

  1. I loved Sweet Valley and Babysitters Club. Maryanne was my favorite from BSC. Thats awesome that you have both collections. I have a boy so its Hardy Boys in this household :)

  2. Oh Beauty and the Beast would be a lovely one to have.

    Here is my answer.

  3. Just stopping by through Follow Friday. I completely forgot about The Babysitter Club. I wish I had thought of that as my pick.

I am a new follower. I hope you stop by my new blog at

  4. Stopping by your blog to say hi.I am a new follower.
My dream is to have a library of my own, a gothic one!

  5. I loved the babysitters club books. That's all I ever got when I was younger from those little book catalogs you could order from.

  6. I'm a new follower from the hop. I just became your 200th follower! :D

That Beauty and The Beast library would be a dream come true! Just imagine having a vast space like that full of wonderful books... Bliss!

  7. Like Erika, a Beauty and the Beast Library would be a dream come true for me too. Although I think I Wwould prefer a small, cosier one in my house.

    I'm a new follower, have a wonderful weekend! :D

  8. A library would be awesome (I think every blogger except me had a similar brain wave on this one!) :)

And I absolutely adored The Babysitter's Club when I was younger! Great choice for your future daughter -- I'm sure she'll love them.

    I'm a new follower :)

  16. A personal library seems to be a pretty common wish amongst booklovers. I know I'm in the vast minority here, but I am trying to channel my zen side and thin down the ridiculous amount of books that I've got. Too many years of attending ALA conferences and/or Book Expo with oodles of free ARCS had turned my apartment into a book dumping ground! I'm trying to hang on to only those very, very special copies of books (suitable for re-reads, great sentimental value, or appropriate to re-gift to friends) now. I've got everything narrowed down to only one bookshelf at the moment! (Avert your eyes from my overflowing night table of books, ahem.)

Babysitter's Club? I liked them but I didn't loooove them. They don't hold a candle to Nancy Drew, at least for me.

  17. Hopping by from Follow Friday. I am following you and would love it if you follow me back at

  18. I fully admit I clicked on "follow" purely because I thought your blog was pretty. I was glad to find I enjoyed reading it as much as I like your blog design :)

New follower here. Hope you can stop by my blog too.

I love comments!
