It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.  Click on the picture to be taken to Sheila at One Person's Journey Through A World of Books!

I feel like I didn't get much reading done this week.  But, I realized I managed to read 3 books.  I finished Sing Me To Sleep by Angela Morrison first.  First half off the book was just okay for me.  Last half was a completely different story.  It even had me in tears.

I think The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger might have to go on the very short list of books were I like the movie more.  I did like the book, but I feel Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep really bring the characters to life.

My last book of the week was Everlasting  by Angie Frazier.  The setting and writing were wonderful.  But, the story itself I just never felt that interested in.  It just an okay book for me.

I'm still plugging away at Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon.  I've had a lot of tour books come, so I haven't just been able to sit and finish it.  I'll have to put it away again this week because I have 3 more tour books coming in.  I think I'll read Boys, Girls, and Other Hazardous Materials  by Rosalind Wisemand first.  I'll also read Faithful by Janet Fox and Claire de Lune by Christine Johnson.

  3. I haven't read The Devil Wears Prada because I saw the film (I rarely do the both) which I loved. I saw it with a friend who has worked in the fashion industry and she said you wouldn't believe just how much of it was true! :)

    Enjoy your books!
