It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.  Click on the picture to be taken to Sheila at One Person's Journey Through A World of Books!

Interesting week in reading for me.  I started off with Keys to the Demon Prison by Brandon Mull.  This was the 5th and final book in the Fablehaven series.  It was a very satisfactory ending to the series.  I'm so glad a friend recommended it to me!

Next, I read Nightshade by Andrea Cremer.  It was an awesome book.  Can't believe it doesn't come out until October.  I'm pretty sure I will be buying it when it's released!

I finished off the week with Underkingdom by Jonathan Culverhouse.  It was interesting.  I'm not sure it fits with the target audience.  I enjoyed the story, but sometimes felt it was to technical (or maybe to to sci-fi).  Just one of those books your not completely sold on.

I'm currently reading Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon.  I started it over the weekend and didn't get as much of it read as I wanted too.  I'm hoping to finish it and fit in Sing Me To Sleep by Angela Morrison and The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger.  If there's time, I will start We Hear The Dead by Diane Salerni.

  4. I hope you enjoy before I fall - I didn't love it but my critism is only that it was repeatative for my taste (which you know going in...).

Everyone keeps telling me not to read Gabaldon even though they love thse books (not my genre?)... I hope you like it!
